Some Changes…

Recently, Swap ‘Em has been in talks with Anderson University’s administration about some legal issues pertaining to its partnership with Swap ‘Em. The results of these talks are being manifested in some subtle, but notable, changes to the interface of our service. Most obvious, the “Anderson University” tag under our logo has been removed and replaced with a tag reading “Anderson, IN”. This was done because we can no longer partner with the university with this endeavor and must retract all official ties with the university.

However, the service is still the same and we are still working on some very cool new features. The coolest of these new features will be a “Wish List” that allows you to add books that you want to a list and receive notifications when they become available. Also, during the summer, laws will go into effect requiring the public availability of ISBN numbers of required class materials. Starting July 10, 2010 we will be collecting this data and providing it to you on our website so you can see what books you need for a particular class and then search for them on Swap ‘Em or any other major book selling outlet.

We appreciate the support and loyalty shown to Swap ‘Em and will continue to provide the most innovative and convenient avenue of buying and selling textbooks: the Localized Textbook Marketplace.
